I’ve always loved to create and collect, one inspiring the other. From rocks in a field to hand cut gemstones, I see a preciousness in each and imagine a story behind them all.

This curious nature took me to art school where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts. Since then I have exhibited in numerous shows nationally presenting mostly installation and print work.

My main inspiration of earth minerals began when I worked in the jewellery retail trade, before and after college, During this time I began the practice of gemstone cutting, delving deeper into different minerals unique qualities and traits, gaining a better understanding of the jewellery pieces I sold and the time and energy involved in their fabrication.

I now create my art full-time from my studio on the west coast of Ireland in Co. Sligo.
