Join us for a exciting community art exhibition 'Coastal Connections' opening in Abhainn Studio Gallery on Friday 9th August at 6pm in Enniscrone, Co.Sligo. The exhibition will run until Wednesday 14th August.
This exhibition is the culmination of my Creative Ireland & Sligo County Council funded community art project 'Coastal Connections' that took place in Enniscrone over June and July this Summer. The project's aim has been to educate, engage and reconnect the community with our local flora and fauna found here on Enniscrone beach. Through artist-led beach walks with myself Bernie Colhoun participants then attended Lino print workshops where I helped them translate their inspiration and ideas into wonderful artworks on textile and paper.
